Cell phone pics sent by Dewdrop while her power was out
My friend Dewdrop from South Georgia reports that trees are down and power is out in Valsosta in Lowndes County, GA. The firefighter estimated it would be out for six hours. She has also seen trees down, a bent sign, a tree on a car, and lots of limbs. She said this was not from a tornado but rather strong storm winds after the ground was "super-saturated" with over 5.5" of rain. She has seen signs bent by the wind at the Taco bell and Old Times Country buffet.
