Severe Weather Outbreak Begins

SPC Outlook issued at 2 p.m. CT.

Storms have begun firing in Oklahoma, in what may turn out do me a very bad afternoon and evening in the Southern Plains. Large, long-track tornadoes are a possibility in the ArkLaTex region and Eastern Oklahoma.

The Storm Prediction Center has issued a moderate risk for a large area and tornado watches have been posted.
