Cullman County tornado confirmed...

[Cullman Co, AL] NWS storm survey reports TORNADO of F1 at 08 May, 02:12 PM CDT -- preliminary storm survey from a NWS team found damage from an EF1 tornado in three distinct...though not continuous...segments from southwest to northeast of the city of Cullman. Several large trees were snapped and uprooted. Major structrual damage was observed northeast of Cullman. The path length of this tornado was estimated to be around 3 miles in and around Smith Lake...7 miles from Sulphur Springs to Trimble...and 5 miles from east of Cullman to Simcoe.
