THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH ALABAMA AND PORTIONS
OF SOUTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

A STORM SYSTEM WILL TRACK EAST FROM THE OZARKS AND DEEP SOUTH
AND INTO THE MISSISSIPPI AND TENNESSEE VALLEYS THIS AFTERNOON AND
TONIGHT. GUSTY SOUTHERLY FLOW WILL BRING A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE
IN GULF MOISTURE AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT. SOUTHERLY
WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH ARE EXPECTED...WITH GUSTS AS HIGH AS 35 MPH
IN THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS TODAY...AND POSSIBLY EXCEEDING 40 MPH
THIS EVENING.

GENERAL SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OF MODERATE INTENSITY
WILL DEVELOP THIS MORNING IN MISSISSIPPI AND SPREAD NORTHEAST
THROUGH NORTHWEST ALABAMA INTO MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

A SQUALL LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL TAKE SHAPE IN THE MISSISSIPPI
VALLEY THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...AND SHOULD PROGRESS THROUGH
THE REGION TONIGHT. THIS LINE WILL BRING A THREAT OF ISOLATED
DAMAGING WINDS AND HEAVY RAINFALL. WIND GUSTS OVER 50 MPH ARE
QUITE POSSIBLE WITH THE HEAVIEST STORMS. WIDESPREAD RAINFALL OF 1
TO 2 INCHES IS ANTICIPATED...WITH LOCALLY HEAVIER AMOUNTS OF
AROUND 3 INCHES CAPABLE OF PRODUCING MINOR STREET FLOODING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...

AS THE COLD FRONT PUSHES EASTWARD...THUNDERSTORMS WILL EXIT EASTERN
PORTIONS OF THE CENTRAL TENNESSEE VALLEY EARLY WEDNESDAY. COLDER
AND DRIER AIR WILL FILTER INTO THE REGION ON WEDNESDAY.

ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM DIGGING INTO THE GULF COASTAL REGION...WILL
FOLLOW ON THE HEELS OF THE FIRST. THIS LOW IS CURRENTLY FORECAST TO
TRACK FROM THE NORTHERN GULF OF MEXICO AND THROUGH THE SOUTHEAST
WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY. THIS WILL BRING ANOTHER BATCH OF
MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL WITH IT...POSSIBLY CHANGING TO SOME SNOW
BY THURSDAY NIGHT.

UNCERTAINTY REMAINS QUITE HIGH WITH REGARDS TO STRENGTH AND TIMING
OF THIS PARTICULAR STORM. YOU ARE URGED TO MONITOR FUTURE UPDATED
FORECASTS AS THIS SYSTEM DEVELOPS.
