Fog, fog, and more fog

It has been foggy almost constantly in many parts of North Alabama this week.  
Visibilities have been less than .25 of a mile again tonight.

...MOIST AIR MASS CONTINUES TO PLAGUE CENTRAL ALABAMA WITH FOG...

.AN UNSEASONABLY WARM AND MOIST AIR MASS REMAINS IN PLACE OVER
CENTRAL ALABAMA. OTHER FACTORS POINTING TO A FOGGY EVENING ACROSS
THE AREA INCLUDE A WEAK FRONTAL BOUNDARY WAVERING ACROSS NORTH
CENTRAL PORTIONS OF THE AREA...AND SOME LATE AFTERNOON CLEARING
JUST TO THE SOUTH OF THIS BOUNDARY. THERE ARE MIXED SIGNALS AS TO
WHETHER THE FOG WILL CONTINUE OVERNIGHT OR NOT...AS INCREASING
SOUTHERLY FLOW IS FORECAST BY SOME MODELS. BUT FOR NOW...ENOUGH
DOUBT IN THAT PROGNOSIS TO EXTEND THE ADVISORY THROUGH THE MORNING
HOURS.

ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM CST FRIDAY.

PATCHES OF LOCALLY DENSE FOG WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP AND BECOME
MORE WIDESPREAD OVER PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL ALABAMA THROUGH THE
EVENING HOURS. THE DENSE FOG CAN BE EXPECTED ROUGHLY ALONG AND
NORTH OF A LINE FROM CARROLLTON...TO TUSCALOOSA...ALABASTER...
TALLADEGA...ANNISTON...AND CENTRE. ANYONE TRAVELING ACROSS
PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL ALABAMA TONIGHT AND EARLY TOMORROW
MORNING SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR SUDDEN REDUCTIONS IN VISIBILITY.

VISIBILITIES ACROSS PARTS OF NORTHEASTERN ALABAMA AND SOUTHERN
MIDDLE TENNESSEE HAVE DECREASED AGAIN EARLY THIS EVENING. MANY
LOCATIONS ARE REPORTING VISIBILITIES OF ONE QUARTER MILE OR
LESS...ESPECIALLY IN HIGHER ELEVATIONS WHICH ARE WITHIN THE LOW
CLOUDS. VISIBILITIES AT HIGHER ELEVATION LOCATIONS MAY DECREASE TO
NEAR ZERO AT TIMES THIS EVENING. SOME IMPROVEMENT IS POSSIBLE
LATER TONIGHT AS WINDS INCREASE AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING FRONT.
