Dolly closer to Hurricane status

The 4 a.m advisory from the NHC has Dolly with maximum sustained winds of 60 mph and minimum central pressure of 997 mb.

Hurricane warnings are in effect from Brownsville to Port O'Connor in Texas.

Conditions are favorable for development this morning. In addition, once the eye structure becomes better organized, rapid intensification would be possible. However, by the time this is possible, Dolly will be close to or making landfall.
