Tornado watch #195



The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Tornado Watch until 4 p.m. for parts of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee. The probabilities for this watch,according to the SPC are:

THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF

WESTERN AND NORTHERN ALABAMA
NORTHEASTERN LOUISIANA
CENTRAL AND NORTHEASTERN MISSISSIPPI
MIDDLE AND EASTERN TENNESSEE

EFFECTIVE THIS FRIDAY MORNING AND AFTERNOON FROM 1015 AM UNTIL
400 PM CDT.

TORNADOES...HAIL TO 1.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND
GUSTS TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE
AREAS.

THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 100 STATUTE
MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 55 MILES NORTHWEST OF
CROSSVILLE TENNESSEE TO 45 MILES WEST OF PINE BELT MISSISSIPPI.

REMEMBER...A TORNADO WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR
