SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
1035 AM CDT FRI APR 4 2008

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HUNTSVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
NORTHERN CULLMAN COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL ALABAMA...
MORGAN COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL ALABAMA...

* UNTIL 1115 AM CDT

* AT 1032 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING PENNY SIZE
HAIL...AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE
LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 13 MILES WEST OF HARTSELLE TO
16 MILES WEST OF FALKVILLE TO 23 MILES WEST OF GOOD HOPE...AND
MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
HARTSELLE...
CULLMAN...
GOOD HOPE...
MORGAN CITY...

DOPPLER RADAR HAS INDICATED SOME WEAK ROTATION WITHIN THIS STORM.
WHILE NOT IMMEDIATELY LIKELY...A TORNADO MAY STILL DEVELOP. IF A
TORNADO IS SPOTTED...ACT QUICKLY AND MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IN A
STURDY STRUCTURE...SUCH AS A BASEMENT OR SMALL INTERIOR ROOM.
