..POSSIBLE TORNADOES AND WIND DAMAGE MAY 6 2009...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DISPATCHED A STORM ASSESSMENT TEAM
TO INVESTIGATE DAMAGE FROM WEDNESDAY. THE TEAM WILL WORK ITS WAY
FROM PICKENS COUNTY...TO TUSCALOOSA COUNTY...TO WALKER COUNTY. THEIR
FINDINGS WILL BE RELEASED WHEN THE SURVEYS ARE COMPLETE.

ALL INFORMATION IN THE STATEMENT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED PRELIMINARY
UNTIL ALL THE DATA IS THOROUGHLY REVIEWED.
