...MINOR SNOW ACCUMULATIONS POSSIBLE TONIGHT...

AS AN UNSEASONABLY DEEP TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE PUSHES INTO THE
REGION...SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS
SOUTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE...AND NORTHEAST ALABAMA TONIGHT.

WARM GROUND TEMPERATURES WILL LIMIT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS. HOWEVER...
AS THE AIR CONTINUES TO COOL AND SNOW PERSISTS...SOME LIGHT
ACCUMULATIONS UP TO ONE HALF INCH ARE POSSIBLE ON GRASSY AND
ELEVATED SURFACES. A DUSTING OF SNOW MAY EVEN ACCUMULATE ON LESS
TRAVELED SIDE ROADS...MAINLY IN THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS. AREAS IN
HIGHER ELEVATIONS HAVE THE GREATEST CHANCE OF SEEING ACCUMULATING
SNOWFALL...AS BOTH AIR AND GROUND TEMPERATURES WILL COOL THE
FASTEST THERE.
