* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
CENTRAL WASHINGTON COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST ALABAMA...
THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF CHATOM...

* UNTIL 845 PM CDT

* AT 752 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGIST DETECTED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO 11 MILES WEST OF
FRUITDALE...OR ABOUT 11 MILES NORTH OF LEAKESVILLE...MOVING EAST AT
30 MPH. THIS STORM IS ALSO CAPABLE OF PRODUCING GOLF BALL SIZE
HAIL AND DESTRUCTIVE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 70 MPH.

* THE TORNADO WILL BE NEAR...
FRUITDALE AND YELLOW PINE BY 810 PM CDT...
ESCATAWPA BY 815 PM CDT...
TIBBIE AND 6 MILES SOUTH OF CHATOM BY 830 PM CDT...

Hey Mike...noticed SPC extended the slight risk into a greater portion of the state. Guess it could get interesting, after all. Just got back from Cold Slab Creamery...the best cure for a sore throat! LOL

Helicity was pretty high down there.
