Lots of tornado warnings across the South

There have been numerous tornado warnings issued by NWS offices today in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Florida. Friend and fellow weather blogger Dew called moments ago concerned about a tornado warning near her boyfriend's children. She was away from radar so I was glad to give her the update. She had posted about this storm a little earlier. It looks like they were close to the storm but actually situated in a safe place. Actually they would have been in an ideal position to watch the storm and see a tornado if one was occuring.

Thanks for the support, Mike. It really helped me to have some peace of mind, and it helped me make rational decisions, which kept me from making everyone freak out.
