Slight risk tomorrow



As expected, yesterday’s storms fizzled out as they entered Alabama. The pressure dynamics pulled off too far to the north and the air was not as unstable as necessary for severe weather. My location ended up with .24” of welcome rain. Some locations near Birmingham received about an inch. Our eyes now turn to the west as another storm system approaches. This Storm Prediction center has placed all of Alabama under a slight risk for tomorrow. More later…

I need to look at this a little close and narrow down the ETA and see if I can go out. The composite map of CAPE and Helicity looks real good in North and Central Alabama.......
